Overview
This page contains the steps a New Hire, whether Global, US or from a Triangle, must complete to continue being eligible for billable hours.
By following the steps in the order listed, you will move through the New Hire process quickly and easily.
NOTE: If at any time you have questions please email them to us at questions@lifebushido.com. We will be more than happy to answer or clarify anything for you.
Use a Subject line: New HireQuestion - FirstName LastName (Example: New Hire Question - Madiha Ahmed). This helps us when sorting our emails and reduces the odds of your email being filtered as Spam.

Job Offer

  • Day 1 begins when you are sent the Welcome to Lifebushido Job Offer email from Steve Kantor
    • Learn. Spend 1 hour learning about Lifebushido's Vision before deciding whether to accept the job offer.
    • Review. Review the New Hire Guide wiki for overall aspect of Tasks and established Team Tasks.
    • Decide & Respond within 3 days. Visit Decide & Respond which will help you understand your choices and how to respond to job offer.
    • Regardless of your decision, you must respond to your offer within 3 days and let us know your choice. If you do not respond within 3 days, offer may be withdrawn.
    • Our most successful Ishidos REPLY ALL, respond YES, and commit to 5-10 billable Task hours to complete their New Hire process.
      • Fast rated New Hires decide and complete this the same day they receive job offer.

Join a Lifebushido Triangle.

  • If you are already in an active Triangle, STAY IN YOUR TRIANGLE, DO NOT CHANGE..
    • You MUST be active in a Triangle or your Triangle formed the month you are hired.
    • The 30-day Recruit Triangle period is only the start. You must remain an active Triangle Member during your first 100+ billable hours.
    • Key Assistants must be a Leader of a Triangle. If you were hired for any other Team or position, you can choose but Leader is still preferred.
    • Active Triangle Members are given preference over non-Triangle Members in terms of billable hours and Team openings.

  • If you have chosen to accept your job offer and have completed the above steps, you are now ready to move on to Step 2 - Start-up Steps!

Start-Up Steps

  • Visit all applicable wikilinks for details.
  • You can complete Steps 2 and 3 simultaneously.
  • You are rated according to how quickly you complete your Required New Hire Tasks.
    • Fast Rated completes Tasks by Day 7
    • Regular by Day 10
    • Slow by Day 11+

Days 1-3

Fast rated New Hires will complete these steps the same day they receive email offer.
  • Schedule Driver Call with Steve. Visit wiki for details.
  • Set up your Email Signature. See Lifebushido Email Standards for instructions.
  • Join Ishido Training List. Join by sending a blank email to: ishidos@aweber.com.
    • The Ishido Training List is used for educational training materials, news on Lifebushido and periodic Ishido broadcast messages for special projects and other information.
    • You will receive an email requiring you to confirm your acceptance. [Note: If you do not receive a confirmation, please make sure it did not get filtered to your Junk or Spam folder.]
  • Email. Send an email to newhire@lifebushido.com. Your email should:
    • have the proper setup of your Email Signature
    • confirm you successfully joined the Ishido Training Email List (you received your confirmation email and responded to it).
  • Accept your Lifebushido Wiki Invite. Once you have accepted and responded to your Job Offer, you will be sent a FREE invite within 24-48 hours to become a Member of the Lifebushido wiki.
    • Open the email and follow the instructions to become a Member.

Once you have completed the above steps, you are ready to move on and finish Step 3 - New Hire Tasks!

New Hire Tasks

  • Visit all applicable wikilinks for details.
  • Refer to New Hire Task wiki for entire Task list.
  • You are rated according to how quickly you complete your Required New Hire Tasks.
    • Fast Rated completes Tasks by Day 7
    • Regular by Day 10
    • Slow by Day 11+

Days 1-7

Fast rated New Hires will start on their New Hire Tasks, especially sending their Daily Emails, the same day they receive email offer.
  • Day 1 begins when you are sent either the Welcome to Lifebushido Job Offer (from Steve) or Fast Track - New Hire Welcome (from Wendy).
  • The New Hire process...
    • consists of billable tasks to be completed.
    • is NOT part of any Team Training or Team tasks you may be completing.
    • takes precedence over Team Training or Tasks.

New Hire Task Summary
  • View the New Hire Task wiki for complete list of New Hire Tasks.
  • Checklist. Print or download New Hire Checklist.
  • Start your Daily Emails. Start sending 5 Daily Emails.
  • Complete Payroll Packet. Visit Payroll Packet.
    • This should be done within 7-10 days of accepting your job offer.
    • You can include your Payroll Packet in your New Hire Packet mailed to Steve.
  • New Hire Packet. Complete your Required New Hire Tasks.
    • Email New Hire PDF Packet by 10th of month.
    • Mail Packet to Steve by 15th of month.
  • Finish any remaining New Hire Tasks.
    • This will allow you to continue with any Team training and for permanent placement on any Team.

Congratulations! Once your Required New Hire Tasks are completed and submitted, you will receive an email with your next steps as a Newshido.
